NOVEMBER HOMING

Dear Cat Lovers,

Just a quick reminder of what we've got available for homing right now.

These kitties are all at my place, which is getting rather packed, so would like to try and them homed ASAP.

Dylan & Dandelion are ready to go off to their new home. Both gorgeous 6 week old brother and sister. Very affectionate. Please forward their pix and link around to your friends. Thanks.

Joe walked into someone's garden in Sai Kung. He's extremely friendly and the lady mentioned he was a kitten with a limp. She ended up bringing him to the clinic for us, and I was rather shocked to find that he wasn't a little kitten, but at least a year old. Age aside, he's extremely affectionate, perhaps he did belong to someone? Anyway he's now in our hands, and hopefully he won't be wandering alone into anyone else's garden again. We've had him neutered and the limp is apparently nothing serious, so should heal in time. If you'd be interested in visiting Joe, please call me. He's very handsome and would make an ideal first companion for someone.

Last but not least, Squeaky is also another extremely affectionate kitten. 4 months now, she prefers being with humans, but now she's at my home so she's getting used to all my own cats. She really has bonded closely with humans. She's a great kitten, quite talkative when she wants to be too.

Just a quick update on Chop Chop, his bandages are off and he's doing really well. The vet mentioned that considering his injuries, the little guy is healing as good as can be. The operation was a tricky one but well worth it. CC was so happy for the bandages to come off, we can't blame him either, his poor little legs (all 3 of them) were swollen and a bit infected from the bandages - he resembled a star fish, with his legs all stuck out. With daily gentle physio from his foster mum Helena he should be flexible again in no time. Big thanks to Helena who has taken such good care of Chop Chop and Sylvia since they first came to us. Can't imagine it's been easy, but she's done a wonderful job and I know she's going to find it very difficult parting with either of them. They must be two of the most famous kittens in HK at the moment, they've had telly and radio interviews and Helena will also be taking part in an interactive telly program this evening.

Here's some pix for everyone to see him with his bandages off:

Finally, we'll be sharing a booth at the Concern Group for Cats Animal Fair on the 4th December in Sai Ying Pun. If you'd be interested in popping along, check out our link for more details. I'll post more details on this link once I know more. Mark your diaries in any case if you fancy going along.
